GR8 in Castleblayney is one of the North East’s most popular entertainment venues. Located adjacent to the town, the brief for this commercial build was comprehensively designed with the emphasis on utilising space and light in order to create a new brand, focusing on entertainment.
The combination of bright interiors, coupled with minimal contemporary design creates the ideal environment for fun and entertainment. User experience was at the centre of the design concept for this project, which incorporated the needs of the client, the nature of the site and the realities of the building. We also focused on the opportunities, both structural and aesthetic which were inherent in the building materials, resulting in a high quality contemporary design that fulfilled the brief.
